Improving education

Improving education

At a time when thousands of children remain out of school, the government’s recent focus on education offers a much-needed ray of hope in Balochistan. The decision to improve nearly 1,000 schools and launch a programme for out-of-school children is a step in the right direction.

Improved school conditions can help reduce the long-standing education gap in the province. Offering financial support to female students is especially important, as it can encourage more girls to attend school and continue their education.

However, proper implementation is key to ensuring real progress. If these initiatives are carried out effectively, they can bring meaningful and lasting improvements to the education system in Balochistan.
