KARACHI:
Site Association of Trade and Industry Chairman Abdul Wahab Lakhani has opposed the new schedule of power outages from 6 pm to 10 pm from Tuesday evening announced by the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) in the industrial areas of Karachi.
He said the KESC has again committed the same mistake and did not take stakeholders into confidence before starting outages on the grounds of short supply of gas by Sui Southern Gas Company.
He requested the KESC management to immediately withdraw the decision in the national interest.
