KARACHI:
The government is adopting a two-fold strategy for the cotton sector, one of which is to strengthen local research institutes, while the second is to import available technologies, said Senior Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Zulfiqar Ahmed Khosa.
He stated this during the inaugural session of the fifth meeting of the Asian Cotton Research and Development Network, organised in Lahore on Wednesday.
