‘Land acquisition for NPHP under way’

LAHORE:

A research project by a team of scientist at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology has been declared the best on Prion Protein Gene in 2010 by the Global Scientific Literature Service BIOMEDLIB.

The work was undertaken at the Genomic Laboratory of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. Dr Muhammad Nawaz, the UVAS vice chancellor, announced a Rs20,000 prize for the main author of the research besides the publication charges.
