KARACHI:
The administration of the University of Karachi (KU) has promoted three of its senior teachers to the status of professor emeritus.
The teachers are vice chancellor Prof. Dr Irtafaq Ali, former dean of the faculty of arts Prof. Dr Manzoor Ahmad and Higher Education Cmmission’s former chairman Prof Ataur Rahman.
Governor Dr Ishrat-ul Ebad Khan, who is also KU’s vice chancellor, had previously made KU’s Prof. Farman Fatehpuri professor emeritus.
