HYDERABAD:
Lawyers boycotted court proceedings to protest the assault on a lawyer by a policeman on Monday.
Except a few cases in the Sindh High Court’s Hyderabad Circuit Bench, proceedings in the civil and sessions court came to a standstill. The protest is in continuation of Saturday’s boycott when a police constable allegedly slapped Habibullah Chang, when he made a prisoner in police custody speak with his family on a mobile phone.
