SUKKUR:
An alleged thief identified as Hakim Ali Brohi was killed in a round of gunshots exchanged by villagers in the Darya Khan Brohi village within the limits of the Garhi Hassan Sarki police station in Thul on Wednesday. Brohi and his accomplices barged into a house and were loosening the ropes around the buffaloes to steal them when the villagers woke up. The thieves and villagers opened fire on each other, killing Brohi. No case had been registered when this report was filed.
