Rain in matli: Raging waters destroy communities

The recent heavy rains in the Thar desert have destroyed homes in Deeplo, the the taluka headquarters town of Tharparkar.

Nearly half of the mud houses and some brick houses have collapsed in areas such as Parrha Colony, Kalar Paro, Meghwar, Lohar and Manganhar, leaving residents without shelter.
