Goals galore continued on the second day of the National Women Football Championship 2011 as Wapda thrashed Azad Jammu and Kashmir 18-0 in Islamabad.
Aqeela and Shabana scored five goals each while Rafia and Azra scored three followed by a goal each from Mehwish and Shagufta to complete the rout.
In another match, Shahida Junior’s goals in the 29th and 39th minute helped Balochistan defeat Sindh 4-0. Riffat also scored a brace.
Ishrat scored the winning goal as Sports Sciences FC defeated Model Town FC 1-0. Both teams qualified for the national tournament after winning the inter-club championship in Lahore earlier.
In the final match of the day, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa defeated HEC 2-0. Razia scored the first goal in the 51st
minute before Rabia doubled the lead soon after to give their side maximum points.
