MULTAN:
Journalists in the district recently conducted a three-day workshop and resolved to focus on gender equity themes in their work. The three-day workshop was conducted by Individual Land, a nonpartisan consultancy, in partnership with Aurat Foundation and USAID under the banner of the Gender Equity Program. The workshop is the sixth in a series aimed at sensitising the media on gender equality issues and ran from September 26 to 27th. According to a survey presented during the workshop, gender equality issues generally arise from illiteracy and unjust economic conditions.
