FAISALABAD:
A three-day international conference on Applied Genetics and Biotechnology will start at a video conference room at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, on Thursday (Dec 8).
Two technical sessions will be arranged on the first day of the conference. The first session titled “gene manipulation, transgenic and beyond” will start at 12:15pm and the second session titled “molecular virology, pathology and immune response” at 245pm.
At the inaugural session, Prof Kousar A Malik, Forman Christian University, Lahore, will be the chief guest.
A large number of scientists from abroad and across the country will attend the event.
