PESHAWAR:
Bashir goes around the Peshawar city every morning with his she-camel, selling camel milk to eager locals.
The camel milk seller, who is originally from Sheikhupura, resides with the other Bedouins near Ring Road, Peshawar where there are around 14 she-camels that provide milk daily to the city.
Bashir claims there is a growing awareness among citizens of Peshawar about the benefits of camel milk, with more and more people buying it at a set price of Rs100 per kg.
“Camel milk helps cure various diseases,” said Bashir.
