LAHORE:
Additional District and Sessions Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal Khan acquitted a suspected drug peddler on Wednesday. The alleged offence committed by Asif alias Asim alias Punnu dated back to June 15, 2006, when a Shafiqabad police team raided Kareem Park. The suspect had allegedly attempted to flee upon sight of the police and dumped a shopping bag containing 3kg of hashish.
