2008 Mumbai attacks: Pakistani judicial commission arrives in India

The Pakistani commission of defense lawyers, prosecutors and a court official has arrived in India on a four day tour to gather evidence for the prosecution of suspects linked to the 2008 Mumbai attacks, reported Express News on Friday.

The commission will meet police officials who were involved in the investigation in Mumbai and doctors who conducted the autopsies of the terrorists and victims.

The commission is visiting India in pursuance of an order of the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court to record the statements of four key witnesses. However, India has not granted permission to cross-examine the witnesses.

Earlier, officials also revealed that the commission would not be allowed to quiz Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving gunman who has been awarded death sentence by an Indian court – for the massacre of 166 people.

  1. At times I wonder if these terror attacks are arranged – just so that there can be innumerable years of ‘investigation’, commission, cases etc. feeding so many folks, keeping them in comfy jobs!

  2. Let me tell you what eye witness will testify.

“YES, I have seen Ajmal kassab killing people ruthlessly”

BUT WHO IS AJMAL KASSAB? he’s the only one who can tell where he comes from? who has trained him and his comrades and who has given this task?

we want to know this first so that we can get our facts straight that is he really a Pakistani? if yes, then who was his handler.

  3. I know that Muslims are not terrorist………..
once we are terrorized and now we known as terrorists…………
Islam does not allow us to to do terrorism…
Even in war we leave children, women and old age people then how can we be terrorist…

  4. This documentary is inspired by true stories of persons, who were once radicalized to the extent that they took up arms. However, later they gave up the violent path and now are trying to live a normal life. This is not easy for them, as their pursuance of violence had a profound effect on the lives of their families. That’s why they regret it every single day of their lives.
