A man and a woman who married without their families’ approval were killed on Monday eight years after their marriage. Amjad and Irum of Mona Syedan, Malikwal, had left their village after their marriage. On Monday, Irum’s brother Munawar learnt that the couple were visiting Amjad’s ancestral home in the village. He and some accomplices entered the house and shot them dead.
