The ministry of water and power has said that there is no shortfall of electricity across the country and therefore, there is no load-shedding. The electricity production now exceeds its demand.
It may be recalled that the ministry had taken emergency steps to correct the technical faults that emerged in Hubco and other plants after the electricity breakdown across the country on the night between Sunday and Monday.
The ministry has announced that load-shedding will not continue.
