The Express Tribune report, ‘Blasphemy suspect denied bail’ published on June 9, erroneously says that Asmatullah had asked the court to order that his name be removed from the FIR. It should have read: Asmatullah implored that his name had not been mentioned in the FIR The error is regretted.
