how can you not have jazba junoon in this list ?
Watan ki mitti azeem hay tuu – azeem tar hum bana rahay hayn – awesome song – still get me going at 35
No Jazba Junoon or Azaadi?
how can you not have jazba junoon in that list ?
You forgot Nusrat Fatih ali khan’s “mera paigham pakistan”. Finest patriotic song to go with Vital Signs.
Jeevay jeevay Pakistan?
nusrat fateh ali mera paigam pakistan…helloooooooooooooooooooo
Where is Jeeyaye by Aaroh?
Please add best of the best, NFAK’s “Mera Paigham Pakistan”
Its NOT the 67th anniversary!
No song by Madam Noor Jahan? Not even the ones she sang during ’65 war; seriously?
Please add Nusrat Fateh Ali’s song ‘Mera Paigam Pakistan’, that was one of the best patriotic song
O Meray Yaar, To Mera Pyar, Sada Rahay To Salamat ?
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Mera Pegham Pakistan ?
its impossible to distinguish…
No doubt number one is
1.Dil Dil Pakistan and 2nd one the 2.Ye Watan Tumhara Hai by Mehdi Hassan
As an Indan , I was just familiar with 3 patriotic Pakistani songs and 2 out of those 3 are not on your list i.e. Jazba Junoon and Jeevay, Jeevay Pakistan. The third one i.e. Dil Dil Pakistan is topping the survey it looks like
why is there no “dil se mein ne dekha Pakistan” by Haroon?
What about boom boom ?
Aey Watan Piyare Watan all the way…I have only listened to it a couple times but the patriotism in this song just reaches out to me. And a blasphemous exclusion from this list is Mera Pegham Pakistan…how can you ET, how can you?
Sad how the last song that made the list was released way back in 1996
it was impossible to select one.
All are awesome songs, may Allah Bless Pakistan and make it possible for the many more generations to come to appreciate this blessing that we have.
Whoa! Where’s Nusrat’s ‘Pakistan Pakistan’ and Junoon’s ‘Jazba Junoon’!?
dil na lagey?
The poetry, the emotions of “Aey watan piyare watan” cannot be matched by any of the other songs in the list above.
Mere Mehboob Watan Tujh Pay Agar Jaan Ho Nisaar, Main Yeh Samjhoonga Thikaane Laga Sarmaya-e-tan.
Another amazing song missing from the list is “Aey nigar-e-watan tu salamat rahay” by Habib Wali Muhammad.
Jab tujhay roshni ki zaroorat padhi, apni mehfil kay shams wo qamar daingay hum, tu salamat rahay!!!
Perhaps “Mein tou dekhunga” by Strings? Its very relevant nowadays
Another great song is “Mat samjho hum nay bhula diyaa.”

Dedicated to all of our soldiers, airmen and sailors who made the ultimate sacrifice for Pakistan!
What kind of clowns could miss Nusrat Fateh Ali’s ‘Mera paigham Pakistan’?
I love them all. I love Pakistan.
Not voting because I cannot select any one song, all are matchless. But this list reflect the state of affairs of our country, nowadays singers and musicians are not coming up with something which can be included in this list
Eye to Eye?
A Patriotic song eulogizes the history, culture, traditions and struggles of the people of a country. The purpose of a Patriotic song is to make you feel inspired about your country…to build nationalistic pride… In my opinion it is silly and insensitive to compare one Patriotic song with another!!!
Maa tujhe salaam by Allah Rakha Rehman.
Maulla By Vital Signs
Naya Pakistan by jubaikd Salman ahahi Nusrat
How come these songs not included?
sohni dharti Allah rakhay – it was sung by Shahnaz Begum (not (mehdi hasan) before she opted for Bangladesh. Her sharp clear and high pitch rendered such justice to Sohni Dharti that it remained all time favorite, till Dill Dill came. like Sohni the Dill Dill lyrics were simple catchy easy to understand and simple enough for kindergarten teachers to teach preschoolers or the senior school band to play.
