BAHAWALPUR:
Police claimed on Saturday to have arrested a bootlegger and seized 500 bottles of liquor from him. Uch Sharif Station House Officer (SHO) Chaudhry Azhar Javed told the media that a team headed by Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iqbal raided a house and arrested the bootlegger, Imran Charhoya. The station house officer said a crackdown against drug peddlers and bootleggers had been launched in Bahawalpur. “All of them will be arrested soon,” he said.
