Child marriages
Child marriages

SOUTH AFRICA/AMANZIMTOTI:

This is with reference to your editorial ‘Child brides, child grooms’ (March 13). It is clear that child marriage is nothing less than a robbery of a human being. Only adults at least 20 years of age should be allowed to wed. Marriage is about living together with common dreams where both partners are in a position to discuss and make their decisions together. A child is not fit for such challenges.
