KARACHI:
The anti-encroachment staff of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) carried out an operation from Sohrab Goth to Lyari Expressway to improve the flow of traffic on the roads. KMC administrator Rauf Akhtar Farooqui directed the staff to remove the encroachments. Illegal stalls, tea and paan cabins, pushcarts, sugarcane machines, and other encroachments were removed from the roads. Encroachments under the Sohrab Goth bridge and the industrial area of Federal B Area were also cleared. The operation was led by KMC anti-encroachment director Mazhar Khan.
