FAISALABAD:

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri vowed to pave way for revolution in the country provided the masses continued supporting his party both politically and financially.

Addressing the PAT rally in Faisalabad on Sunday, Qadri said he will bring revolution in the country if the nation supported him in three things, namely vote, note and support.

The PAT chief announced membership of his party, asking the citizens of Faisalabad to join his forces for his party’s organisation.

“I will be here tomorrow. Become a member of my movement and support me.”

Subsequently, Qadri called for people’s financial and electoral support.

“I am not a capitalist, and don’t have feudals and landlords in my party,” he said. “I am an honourable man and want financial support to fight for your rights.”

He said the difference between other rulers and him was that they used nation’s money to make their own assets, while he will develop and make Pakistan a great country with their money.

“Money from the poor will be used to fight against looters and plunderers.”

Asking for electoral support through votes, he said, “Support us through your votes. We will contest every election, be it local, national or provincial,” he said. “Gives us votes, and we can turn this country into Quaid’s Pakistan.”

He said the masses were awoke which was in fact a revolution.

“Poor and weak are now ready to fight with the powerful,” he said. “This is the first phase of revolution.”

Faislabad will be made into a separate province

Dr Qadri also announced to give Faisalabad the status of a province once he comes into power.

“I promise to make Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi separate provinces,” he said. “The Seraiki belt too will be given its due share.”

He said he will bring a Supreme Court bench to Faisalabad, while High Court benches in Jhang, Chinniot and other cities.

Overseas Pakistanis will pay foreign debt

Continuing with opposition of the current system, the PAT chief said no government in the country was working for the poor as foreign debt and inflation was increasing by the day.

“The nation’s wealth is being spent to pay the interests on these loans,” he said. “How will the masses get development when money is being spent on loans only?”

He said that if he comes in power, foreign debt will be paid within six months as overseas Pakistanis will donate to him generously.

“Everyone trusts me,” he said. “If I go on foreign tours, overseas Pakistanis on my call will pay all the foreign debt owed by Pakistan.”

  1. “No government in the country was working for the poor” Qadri…
He included Imran too in this statement.

  2. “I promise to make Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi separate provinces,” he said. “The Seraiki belt too will be given its due share.”

I want my own province where I will appoint myself Governor, Chief minister, Chief secretary and various other family members as ministers, secretaries and so on.
I will print my own currency and will give you as much money as you want; promise!

  3. I want to believe him and I do.
He and Imran are the only hope for Pakistan, which is not a failing state – is a failed state.
They are different from from what we have seen all these years. They already have awaken people, brought awareness to masses. Their language is different, their history is clean. They are like open book, nothing hidden or disputed.
I ask everyone to contribute positively and save our homeland.

  4. Qadri Sb! If overseas Pakistanis can pay all of Pakistan’s debts, then why are you asking poor people of Pakistan for “notes” ?

  5. @Ch. Allah Daad:
He is including everyone in this statement as no on actually want to Work for the poor, but just to come in power. He is needless of everything as He has been blessed with Blessings which can’t compare this Gov or anything alike. He is the only one WHO has the power and ability to bring a constitutional, legal and democratic revolution in the country, and now even the naton is standing by him. His workers have stayed i Islamabad Sit-in for about 2 months now, indeed they are firm and committed. Not a leader, party, or workers which can be found anywhere else. The revolution have already come in the country

  6. Qadri Sb! If overseas Pakistanis love you so much, why don’t you ask them for donations instead of begging poor Pakistanis for “notes”.

  7. Qadri called for people’s financial and electoral support:
“I am not a capitalist, and don’t have feudals and landlords in my party,” he said. “I am a mulla man and my business is your chanda, zakat, qurbani ki khaal and fitra. I want financial support as my previous financier, Pervez Mush has stopped funding my dharna because I could not deliver him out of Pakistan.”

  8. @yousuf: The nation was starting to stand on its own feet until Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan started their Dharnas. How can anyone possibly believe Tahirul Qadri who lives in Canada on social assistance along with his family? If a man relies on Canadian tax payers to pay his living Khayrat, how can he promise to eliminate the nation’s debts in 6 months? Does he not understand that both Canada and the US are also in debt? A man who has no understanding of finances cannot be taken seriously. He should also make a separate province in Oakville for his family who have a million dollar home there while collecting welfare from the Canadian state!

  9. @Fatima Mirza:
I pity your innocence, a man’s greed has no limits. Qadri is exploiting the poor for his personal ventures and nothing more. This guy deserves to be behind bars for inciting violence and attack on state buildings in Islamabad.

  10. Mr Qadri
Why don’t you go and lead a struggle for your country Canada’s independence from the Queen.
Try to run for Canadian presidency after establishing a republic there.

Stop spreading false statements, respect privacy of others. If you are a social services official in Canada you are breaking law by disclosing of an individual. You’re making a case against yourself.

If you have problem with dual nationals, be informed dual nationals are serving their homeland better than those in Pakistan. Read what expatriates have contributed towards growth and deveopment of Pakistan, India, China and others, financially and intellectually .
