PESHAWAR:

The All Sub-Engineers Association of Peshawar has urged the provincial government to upgrade sub-engineers in all government departments who have been employed on grade-11.

Speaking at Peshawar Press Club on Thursday, Malik Bashir Ahmad, the association’s provincial president, said. “Engineers at grade-11 have never been upgraded in their entire career.”

He said new sub-engineers and those who were employed between 30 and 35 years ago all are working in the same grade.

Nigarul Haq, the divisional president of the association said. “The sub-engineers will take to the streets and protest if sub-engineers are not upgraded by October 8.”
