ISLAMABAD:

Islamabad Mayor and Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz has directed the civic agency’s Building Control Section (BCS) to take strict action against those violating building by-laws.

Addressing a meeting to review performance of BCS Directorate, he said that a mechanism was being devised which would ensure effective implementation of CDA building by-laws.

The meeting was told that the BCS was taking action against those violating building by-laws. In this regard, the directorate had last week issued several notices while construction work being carried out in violation of CDA building by-laws was stopped.

A three -day notice for removal of violations had been served to the owner of plot number 6-D in F-10 Markaz. Similarly, work on a plaza being constructed without approval was stopped. Furthermore, a warning was also issued for removal of violations.
